An Ob doc series following inmates and staff of Jurby Prison in the self governing Isle of Man

I was the senior Edit Producer on this tasked with totally re editing a new prime time 6 - part series from scratch.

I fulfilled ITV’s brief to create a warm & light, funny and touching prison series from a huge volume of rushes.

I quickly had to create narrative stories, identify characters and oversee pick ups. I cut the first episode to set the tone and style and did finishing work on all 6 episodes.

ITV were delighted with the results and put it out in the Coronation Street slot, ‘F’ing Love it’ Sue Murphy.

It was a massive hit averaging 3.6 million with a stunning 23.5 % Audience Share.
